Watch AEW Dynamite 2020 Live Online Free

AEW Dynamite airs live tonight from Southaven, Mississippi, a suburb of Memphis, Tennessee. The show takes place on the first anniversary of the AEW introductory press conference and is being billed as the Anniversary edition of Dynamite.

Jon Moxley is scheduled to respond to Chris Jericho's offer of an executive vice president title and 49 percent ownership of the Inner Circle, as well as a Ford GT with a personalized license plate.
The AEW Women's World Championship will be on the line this evening. Riho will defend the title against number one contender Kris Statlander.
Cody and Dustin Rhodes will face The Lucha Bros in tag team action. Cody is also scheduled to respond to MJF's demands from last week. MJF stated that he would only face Cody at Revolution, that they could not touch before then, that Cody agree to 10 lashes from MJF's belt on Dynamite, and that Cody beat Wardlow in a cage match.

Kenny Omega and Hangman Page will face Private Party in a tag team match. Jurassic Express will face Best Friends and Orange Cassidy in a trios match. Rounding out the card, Sammy Guevara will face Christopher Daniels in singles competition following their backstage confrontation last week.
A tribute to legends of Memphis wrestling has also been announced. Angelo Poffo, Randy Savage, Lance Russell, Dave Brown, Eddie Gilbert, Tommy Gilbert, Brian Christopher, Austin Idol, Jimmy Valiant, and The Rock 'n' Roll Express are those announced as being honored.
Our live coverage begins at 8 p.m. Eastern time.

The show opened with a recap of The Elite's big win in last week's main event and Hangman's decision not to celebrate with them.
Dave Brown joined Jim Ross, Excalibur and Tony Schiavone on commentary for the opening match. That was super cool. Brown didn't say much, but put over everyone in the match.

Wednesday marked the first time since Dec. 18 that both AEW and NXT aired a live show. That week, NXT used an NXT Championship match between Adam Cole and Finn Balor, and an NXT Women's Championship match between Shayna Baszler and Rhea Ripley to win the viewership 795,000 to 683,000.
On Christmas, NXT aired an episode with pre-taped matches, and AEW did not air a show. Last week, AEW had a normal episode, and NXT had a pre-taped awards show.

Welcome to Ringside News’ results for AEW Dynamite, the first Dynamite of 2020!
After a week long break, AEW returns on New Year’s Day with an action-packed episode. Cody will be in action tonight against Darby Allin. This marks the second time the two have fought in AEW but tonight Cody will have the Enforcer, Arn Anderson in his corner. Can Cody get back on the right track before facing MJF in February? We find out tonight!
Elsewhere tonight, Riho defends her Women’s Championship against Hikaru Shida, Nyla Rose, and Britt Baker in a Fatal 4-Way, Kenny Omega will team with The Young Bucks to face The Lucha Bros and PAC in a six-man tag match, Sammy Guevara faces Dustin Rhodes, and Jon Moxley will face Trent.
AEW looks to start 2020 on the right foot, and it should be a fun show. Remember to download the Ringside News app, and follow us on Instagram and Twitter. Enjoy the show!

Dynamite

The first AEW of 2020 opens with a video package that shows The Elite being beaten down since the first show until now. It’s suggesting The Elite might be on its last legs.
We go live to the arena, which has a slightly different look this week with the entrance diagonal to the ring. The announcers – Tazz is filling in for Schiavone this week – run down the card for tonight.
Darby Allin comes out with musician Ghostmane, who is wearing a Cody mask, then walks to the back. Cody is out second, accompanied by Arn Anderson, who is the “head coach of the Nightmare family”. Everybody’s wins and losses records have been wiped clean for the new year.
